Nutrition workshops

Our one hour workshops are designed to educate and motivate your employees to make positive nutrition choices that will help boost energy levels and improve their overall well-being. Each workshop takes into consideration the time constraints and pressures of cooking and preparing foods within a busy working week, so all recommendations are quick, manageable and powerful!

    The gut is a vastly complex system housing cells and bacteria which all work together to breakdown food, absorb nutrients, fight pathogens, and remove waste. The gut is intrinsically linked to our overall health and if the gut is compromised, this can have a negative knock-on effect. We want all the cells, the gut lining and the gut bacteria working optimally so that the digestive system can work effectively and keep us in good health.

    This talk will cover:

    • The importance of the gut and how it links to the rest of the body,

    • Key nutrition and good habits for optimum gut health,

    • Meal ideas for gut health,

    • How to restore your gut health after experiencing gut-related illness (virus / food poisoning).

    Our immune systems are constantly working to support us: when we eat, when we cut or bruise ourselves, when we exercise, when we catch a cold etc. So, we need our immune systems working at their best for them to protect us.

    There are several ways we can support our immune system through diet. In this workshop we set out some practical tips on how to support the immune system on an ongoing basis by providing the range of nutrients it needs to work effectively, and some considerations for reactive measures if we fall ill.

    This talk will cover:

    • An overview of the immune system and the ways in which it protects us,

    • What are the key nutrients we need to support the immune system,

    • Recipe recommendations to incorporate these key nutrients into your diet,

    • How to support your immune system during illness.

    It can be hard to find inspiration for nutritious meals during the working week, whether you are working from home, office or hybrid. With more of us taking the hybrid approach, it is a great opportunity to take control of our diets and eat lots of nutritious food, but equally it can be hard to find the time to plan when and what to eat.

    This talk will cover:

    • The best time to eat your meals to support your health, and your energy levels at work,

    • Nutritious mid-week breakfast, lunch (home / office) and dinner ideas,

    • How to sneak extra nutrients into your working week,

    • Hacks to make a Pret salad more interesting.

In-house nutrition clinic

The in-house nutrition clinic allows employees to book 30 minute sessions with a qualified Nutritional Therapist. 

In the session we run through the employee's existing diet, an overview of their goals, symptoms and any conditions, and then we discuss practical dietary changes to meet their objectives. 

Clients will take away a general programme and suggested seven-day meal plan with recipes and a shopping list included.

The clinic can be organised online or in the office as long as a private meeting room can be provided for the full duration of the clinic.

How does it work

Two weeks ahead of the scheduled clinic, you will receive a Calendly link to share with your employees. Employees can book themselves a half hour appointment that fits into their schedule.
